The wine is Colored deep purple.
Aromas of black fruit, roasted coffee with hints of eucalyptus.
Taste of blackcurrant, raspberry, with a touch of vanilla.
It is full bodiedwith a long finish.
It was a wet, early winter, with some cold spells, but overall was mild. The growing season was even, without undue peaks of heat. Yields were standard to low.
The grapes were night harvested and immediately transferred to the winery for gentle crushing and a temperature‐controlled fermentation.
At the end of the process, the wine was aged for 24 months in small French oak barrels.
